how time flies.

 today i was working for a KIRIN event at clarke quay
and the bar staff asked me "so how young are you?"

and when i replied with my age, it dawned on me how fast every year passes and how fast we age with each passing year.

i'm 20 this year, and i really feel that i've grown over the years
it's not because i'm no longer a teenager anymore. Rather, its the experiences that piles up over the years that shapes me to be the person i am today.

I'm thankful for everyone that has been in my life, the good or the bad. And i'm also thankful for the opportunities and people that remain important in my life.

i know this is a rather awkward and personal post.
but

i'm proud of myself

i'm not the best person out there or the most tolerant, patient, good tempered and kind-hearted soul
but i've been really good this year ( SANTA THIS IS DIRECTED TO YOU) ;)

In fact this year has been good to me too :)
2011 was a very fruitful year for me.

i actually think i achieved "self-actualization" at some points this year.
haha!

So cut the long story short my life has been fruitful and blessed and i thank God and whoever who loves me and is looking out for me!

SO TO REVIEW 2011 NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS!
since the year is coming to an end.


my resolutions:

1) get the freaking driving license 

--> i did it! i got it on JULY 18 which is my TP test date which i'll never forget! Proud of myself for being disciplined and getting it done. I also got to thank Paul for this because i kept procrastinating and refuse to look for a private instructor. In the end, paul helped me to look up the details of the private instructor and i finally started taking lessons. If he didn't do this for me i might not have gotten the license! <3

2) replace the iphone.

--> okay first i'm going to say why there was a need to replace the iphone. I AM ESPECIALLY CARELESS WITH MY PHONE! and i'm not proud of this :( i've lost 1 iphone4 (in 2010) and 1 iphone3g (in 2011). The iphone 4 was my old phone and because i lost it my good friend shiling lend me her old iphone3gs which i also lost :(

sigh! BEING MORE CAREFUL WITH MY THINGS will be one of my next years resolution.

i've replaced my iphone with another one thanks to my friend KIMSENG :) who sold it to me!

he was super nice and lend me his previous iphone3g to use before i bought his iphone 4!

3) convince parents to shift home or redecorate my room.

--> guess what i'll be shifting out from YIshun to Yishun! -_-

hahaha guess my parents love it here. My mom wants to shift so my dad and her went house hunting and they've bought a house and we will be moving in 2 years time because its a new flat and the construction is not done LOL. I don't know, i mean i don't mind not shifting i just wanted a new room guess i'll have one in 2 years -_- 

4) Go on a vacation with friends.

--> Zilch! NADA! haven't gone on vacation with friends!!!! :( okay this resolution must bring to next year! UNFINISHED BUSINESS!

5) finish unfinished business with Joh.

Sigh! still unfinished hahahaha! Might abort 'unfinished business' though.

6) have more self control in environments where alcohol is present.

I think this year, i've been good! And besides don't club much now. In comparison to 2010 i drank so much lesser this year!

7) look prettier in comparison to 2010

okay now that i look at this resolution. i think it's a pretty stupid one. I MEAN COME ON!! WHO DON'T WANT TO GET PRETTIER WITH EACH PASSING YEAR!

but i can't realy review this resolution.. 

i look at myself everyday!

even if i've gotten better or worse, i wouldn't know!

HHAAHA
